Question 2

Do I need to book in advance?

Yes. Registrations for our sessions close 1 hour before the start time to allow our teachers ample time to prepare TJS for class. You can book a session within a 14-day window, but please note that spots are limited, so securing your spot early is always a good idea. We encourage you to book online for all sessions to guarantee your place.

I'm running late! Can I still come?

Our late policy is simply, don’t be late. Our teachers have to lock the doors and will always start their classes promptly on time. Please ensure you leave enough time to arrive 5-10 minutes before your class, so you can get settled and acquainted with the teacher!

What’s the cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

You can change or cancel your class bookings up to 6 hours before the start of the class without being subjected to penalty fees.
Anything cancelled within the 6 hour window before your class is considered a Late Cancel and you will not be refunded or receive any returned credit. Anything cancelled before the 6 hour window is considered Regular Cancel and you will receive a full refund or account credit.

How do I sign up?

You can sign up via app or our website! Our booking system is TeamUp – Please note you will be taken to the TeamUp registration or log in page & you will need to complete these steps to book any classes/workshops/events at The Joy Studio.

Question 6

Do I need to bring anything/wear anything particular?

Accepted Answer

We provide mats for rental at the studio, but we recommend bringing your personal mat. We provide props like blocks, straps, bolsters, and more. For any movement sessions, we suggest wearing comfortable clothes that you enjoy moving in, and don't forget to bring a water bottle and a positive attitude!
For aerial classes, we invite you to wear long-sleeve shirts that cover your armpits and long pants or leggings for extra comfort and support during the class.
